Emmanuel Barasa stated that he suspects his daughter was hit on the wall based on the injuries he saw on her body. “My daughter has been killed like an animal; she has a fracture on her head and face and has several bruises on the hands and legs.
I think she was hit on a wall,” he said in a report by Ramogi TV. Barasa revealed that he separated from his wife more than 10 years ago, and she moved on with another man in Busia county. “We do not communicate, and she asked me to let her raise our daughter without interference. She also denied me the right to care for my child or even talk to her,” he explained. The family is also calling for speedy investigations to determine the cause of Kanyigi’s death.
