“Nobody Prepared Me for This”

In the clip shared online, Diana jokingly lamented how quickly children transition from calling their mothers “Mama” to more casual names.

“Nobody prepares you for this transition from Mama to Mommy to Mom to Bruh! Bruh! Stop the crap, Bruh.”

She explained that Morgan had called her from a teacher’s phone number, which made her think she was speaking to a teacher at first.

“Morgan ananipigia simu na namba ya mwalimu so mimi niko, ‘Hi mwalimu, how are you?’ Halafu nasikia, ‘Mathe ni mimi.’”

The influencer admitted she was stunned by the greeting and wished she had recorded the conversation.

According to Diana, the main reason for the call was to ask for additional pocket money.

“Mathe ati naidai pocket money, pocket money imeisha. Kwani ulienda shule kukula?”

She jokingly questioned how the money had already run out barely two weeks after schools reopened.

“Bruh” Leaves Diana Speechless

The situation became more hilarious when Morgan called her “Bruh”.
Diana dramatically reacted to the nickname while addressing her followers.

“Look at me. No, look at me. Bruh! Nimeitwa Bruh! Ati ‘Stop the crack, Bruh.’”

She jokingly threatened not to send more pocket money until she was addressed respectfully again.

“Nimemwambia, ‘Now ukiitwa vizuri nipigie simu tena nikutume pocket money.’”

Fans Flood Social Media With Reactions

The video attracted thousands of reactions from Kenyans online, with many finding the situation relatable and hilarious.
Several followers joked that Diana should prepare for even more slang as Morgan grows older.

Parenting and Pocket Money Debate Continues Online

Diana’s experience comes shortly after Kenyan comedian Oga Obinna also sparked online discussion about school pocket money.Obinna recently shared a video showing his eldest son going back to school and giving him KSh 10,000 entirely in KSh 50 notes.
The entertainer explained that using smaller denominations would help the boy manage his spending at the canteen.

“That’s 10,000, but it has been converted to 50-shilling notes. So when you go to the canteen, you just spend KSh 50 each time.”
