Content Creator Ruthie Poses as Worshipper to Confront Pastor Over 3 AM Church Noise

Content creator Veronica, known online as Ruthie, has drawn attention after posing  as a churchgoer to confront a pastor over noise.

She says the neighboring church has been noisy since 3am, and her video reignited debate over worship in estates.

 

The confrontation

Ruthie reportedly posed as a churchgoer before raising her complaint with the pastor. She captioned the video: “You finally confronted the neighboring church about the noise they’ve been making since 3am.”

In the clip, she says she lives in the next building. She introduces herself as a mother of one.

Mixed reactions

The video has divided Kenyans online. Many are debating whether churches should hold loud late-night services in residential areas.

Some backed her approach. User @nuwahereza8696 wrote that she was right and that boundaries must be respected.

A familiar complaint

The row comes amid ongoing concern in Nairobi over noise from churches and other establishments.

Many residents say they are reluctant to complain. Some fear it could bring a curse.

 

Residents of crowded estates have said churches are a major source of noise. Some landlords reportedly lose tenants because of it.
