Selestine Nyagah, widely known for her lead role in the hit telenovela Neema, has officially stepped into a new professional chapter. On Sunday morning, she made her debut as the host of Rauka, the long-running gospel show on Citizen TV.
This transition follows the recent departure of the previous host, Joyce Omondi, who left the station few weeks ago.
Following her first broadcast, Nyagah took to social media to break her silence and share her gratitude. She published a series of photos to acknowledge those who helped her prepare for the live television role.
She described several key figures in her journey as “destiny helpers.”

The Path to the Studio
Nyagah’s move to Rauka comes after the successful conclusion of Neema late last year. While she is best known to many as an actress, she expressed deep appreciation for the chance to host.
She specifically thanked Madam Latifah Ngunjiri, the production director at Royal Media for the opportunity, stating she was “truly honoured and grateful.”
The actress also highlighted the role of media moguls Lulu Hassan and Rashid Abdalla. She revealed that a significant turning point occurred earlier this year.
“If it wasn’t for that one life-changing phone call in 2024 from my boss @loulou_hassan… and to you Boss @rashidyabdalla thank you for the opportunity and the trust,” Nyagah shared.
