A government car driver who was seeking to overlap on a busy road has been taught a lesson by bold Kenyans on the road. A woman standing on the road. Why didn’t Kenyans want the car to overlap? The man was driving a black car on a road where cars were bumper to bumper, and he thought he could just snake his way to the other side, overlap and be on his way. A woman stubbornly stood in front of the car, with arms akimbo, and refused to move even one inch to let the car move as the others remained in traffic. Why did Kenyans stop the black car? A lorry was parked in front of him, and he could not maneuver around it.
The man who tried to speak for the government car, begging the people blocking it to give them just one minute, was promptly shut down, and the woman gave him a cold shoulder. “There is nothing like one minute here; you (driver on the right side of the road) can pass; you are on the right lane. Do not be afraid, keep driving,” other people encouraged a car that was coming from the opposite direction. The drama attracted a crowd, with some people wondering what was happening but after learning of the situation, they looked on, wondering who was going to blink first. “Kenyans are tired of their leaders treating them like trash,” read the caption on the video. Kenyans react to the video: Paul Edward Muhoho: . “The lady seated on the rails ni 🔥 🔥.” Allanez Mosong: “Hana security?” Sue Wa Kim: “The camera man had one job and one job only, Kutoenyesha the guys in that vehicles who thought they own the road.”
David Musundi: “Hii ndio Kenya we want, wacha hii ujinga ya kulala stadium ndio mkenya apewe afew hundreds of KSh.” Sylvester Ogola “😂😂😂 I like this they harassed me a lot yesterday…Homabay holiday.” Ayitso Khatiela Wa Ndakalu: “The lady alete number tueke ya cabej we are fixing the neshen thank you for representing us well baby girl.” Meshack Samson Maina: “Allanez Mosong Kenyans are not scared of guns and walkie-talkies anymore😂😂😂😂😂.” Sylvester Ogola: “😂😂😂 I like this they harassed me a lot yesterday…. Homabay holiday.” Ayitso Khatiela Wa Ndakalu: “The lady alete number tueke ya cabej we are fixing the neshen thank you for representing us well babygirl.” Police officer criticises politician on wrong lane
In another story, a police officer was annoyed when he saw a car belonging to a politician openly flouting traffic rules as he was directing vehicles. A social media clip showcased the police officer directing vehicles at a busy Nairobi intersection when a Nissan Patrol whose driver was openly flouting rules grabbed his attention. The cop did not take the politician’s actions lying down and went ahead to confront him, causing many Kenyans to praise him for his courage.
