In a video that has gone viral online, the young lady could be seen standing on stage in her pink dress as she put on a show with her Mbele Iko Sawa piece.
President Ruto praised for being God fearing In her first verse, the poet started by praising Ruto for being God-fearing and ending tribalism in Kenya. In her fourth verse, the young girl lauded the projects launched by the president, including the Hustler Fund, Affordable Housing, and SHA, saying he was a leader with dreams of how to grow our economy and should be supported. She also mentioned how the church bought some land only for brokers to claim the money did not reach the right hands, but eventually got their title deed after the president intervened. The young girl led to the church’s biggest cheer yet when she mentioned that they do not turn down donations, saying it is an avenue for blessings. Ruto said he had not found any valid reasons why the Catholic Church rejected his donation. He donated KSh 20 million and pledged another KSh 100 million toward the construction of the church.
