Young Girl Moves President Ruto With Poem at Jesus Winner Church: “Mbele Iko Sawa”

A young girl left President William Ruto over the moon after reciting a poem at Jesus Winner Church’s Sunday service. The moments between the young girl and President William Ruto.  During his Sunday, March 2, visit to Jesus Winner Church in Roysambu, Ruto was treated to a lovely poem by a young girl who encouraged him and put a huge smile on his face. In a video that has gone viral online, the young lady could be seen standing on stage in her pink dress as she put on a show with her Mbele Iko Sawa piece.

President Ruto praised for being God fearing In her first verse, the poet started by praising Ruto for being God-fearing and ending tribalism in Kenya.  In her fourth verse, the young girl lauded the projects launched by the president, including the Hustler Fund, Affordable Housing, and SHA, saying he was a leader with dreams of how to grow our economy and should be supported. She also mentioned how the church bought some land only for brokers to claim the money did not reach the right hands, but eventually got their title deed after the president intervened. The young girl led to the church’s biggest cheer yet when she mentioned that they do not turn down donations, saying it is an avenue for blessings. The girl said that the church welcomes any donation to build an even fancier house of Christ. “Msaada twa waomba, kwa ujenzi wa kanisa, Matoleo hatupingi, ndicho chanzo cha baraka,

Ukitupa tutajenga, kanisa kubwa ya kifahari, Tumuunge rais wetu, mbele iko sawa.” “Pepo chafu ya kupinga , jameni tuikatae, Gurudumu letu kenya, kwa pamoja tusukume, Penye nia pana njia, wahenga waLisema, Tumuunge rais wetu, mbele iko sawa.” In her final stanza, the young lady reminds Ruto to be firm, saying a tree without fruits is never pelted with stones. She urged the president to leave every fight to God because he is the one who chose him. Ruto stands to hug young church girl Impressed by the poem, the president stood up from his chair and lifted the young lady in a beautiful hug. He could not stop smiling he held her hands and congratulated her for the piece, which was certainly impressive. Ruto said he had not found any valid reasons why the Catholic Church rejected his donation. He donated KSh 20 million and pledged another KSh 100 million toward the construction of the church.
