A man from Gulu town, Uganda, has shared a painful story that left many people emotional. Michael says he married his wife when she had nothing. He loved her genuinely, supported her dreams, and stood by her side when no one else did. When he got stable employment, he rented a decent house for the family and later opened a small business for his wife so that she could also be independent.For years, Michael worked hard to make sure his family never lacked. The business grew steadily, and his wife became well known in the area. Life seemed good, and Michael believed their marriage was built on love, loyalty, and sacrifice. Unfortunately, things changed suddenly when he lost his job due to company downsizing. With no steady income, financial pressure entered the home.Instead of supporting him during the difficult period, Michael’s wife began changing.
She became disrespectful, stopped communicating, and started coming home late. She openly complained about his unemployment and compared him to other men who were financially stable. Within a short time, she moved out and later openly started living with a rich man in town, leaving Michael completely broken.Michael says the betrayal hurt more than poverty.
