Young Ladona Ashley, the little girl who was given two weeks to live if she did not get a kidney transplant, has sadly died. Ladona Ashley, who needed KSh 1.3 million surgery. Where is the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital? Ladona started complaining of a stomach ache in February 2024, and most doctors could not diagnose it. After taking her to several hospitals, the family finally landed at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret.  

While at the hospital, her doctors gave the little girl only two weeks to live as she was diagnosed with kidney disease. While at the hospital, the condition deteriorated, and the doctors recommended a KSh 1.3 million kidney transplant. Apart from the cash needed for the kidney transplant procedure, young Ladona also needed KSh 300,000 for the hospital bill. How much did MTRH charge as hospital bill? On September 13, Ladona’s sister told TUKO.co.ke that her sister had sadly passed away as she awaited treatment. 

“We could not afford dialysis for two days, and the toxins in the body were too much, so she died. We are so heartbroken; we really tried,” said the sobbing sister. “Although we are mourning we are are aware that there is a KSh 300,000 bill that we need to pay.
