After she completed her studies, Mtumishi said he continued supporting her by using his professional connections to help her secure employment.

His efforts appeared to pay off when his former wife secured a position at an international organisation, where she earned KSh80,000 per month.

‘She Said She Could Not Feed a Man’
According to Mtumishi, his former wife eventually realised that he was struggling financially, and their relationship subsequently came to an end.
“She realised I was broke and told me she could not feed a man,” Mtumishi said.

He claimed that she later left him and eventually married another man.
“I educated her, helped her get a job, and when things became difficult for me, she left,” he said.
Mtumishi suggested that the experience marked one of the most difficult periods of his life. With his finances in turmoil and his marriage over, he said he struggled for several years.
Obinna Gives Mtumishi a Fresh Start
Despite the setbacks, Mtumishi’s story has taken a more hopeful turn this year after media personality Obinna gave him an opportunity to work at Obinna Studios.
“I have been struggling, but this year Obinna employed me at Obinna Studios,” he said.
The new opportunity has given the former Churchill Show comedian a chance to rebuild his career and reconnect with the entertainment industry.
