She confirmed that the couple had not quarrelled or fallen out before his departure, making his absence all the more baffling and distressing. With no income of her own, Joyce described the weight of keeping her household afloat as overwhelming. “I do not have a job or a business. How am I going to take care of these young children? I have searched for him everywhere, but to no avail,” she said through tears. In a raw and emotional message directed at her husband, Joyce begged him to come back and face whatever difficulties they may be dealing with together. “If you hear this, please come home. Our children need you, and I need you too. If I have wronged you in any way, please forgive me and come back home. These children are still young. We need to pay rent and put food on the table. Please, I beg you, come home,” she pleaded. Joyce urged anyone with knowledge of her husband’s whereabouts to either contact her directly or walk into the nearest police station and share what they know. She said she had exhausted every option available to her and had no one else she could turn to for support.
