Kenyan content creator Mjaka Mfine has opened up about her dating life, revealing that she has never been romantically involved with a content creator or any other public figure.
Speaking during an interview with radio personality Alex Mwakideu, Mjaka made it clear that she prefers keeping her romantic life away from the spotlight.
“I don’t think mimi nishai date content creator ama mtu anajulikana Kenya. Sitaki kujiweka kwa hio maisha. Huyu mwenye niko na yeye wacha abaki pahali ako. If you are a public figure, haiwezi,” she said.
Mjaka on Dating Public Figures
According to Mjaka, being in a relationship with someone who is constantly in the public eye comes with a lifestyle she would rather avoid.
She suggested that dating a public figure can make it difficult to maintain privacy, especially when both partners have large audiences and their personal lives are regularly discussed online.
For her, keeping her relationship away from the limelight appears to be a deliberate choice, with Mjaka preferring that the person she is currently with remains out of the public eye.
Her comments also appeared to reinforce her position that she has not dated anyone who is already well known in Kenya.
What About Mokaya?
Mjaka’s remarks come at a time when she has been linked to fellow content creator Mokaya, a familiar face among Kenya’s online entertainment personalities.
The two have previously sparked speculation among social media users, with their interactions leading some fans to believe that there could be more than friendship between them.
However, Mjaka’s latest comments appear to distance herself from such claims.
She did not directly address Mokaya by name during the interview, but her statement that she has never dated a content creator has inevitably raised questions among fans who have previously connected the two.
