Njambi Fever Clarifies Marital Status: We Are Separated, Not Divorced

Kenyan content creator Njambi Fever has publicly addressed curiosity surrounding her personal life during a TikTok live session. She confirmed that she and her estranged husband are currently separated, though they remain legally married.

Living Under One Roof

Addressing fans during the live broadcast, Njambi Fever explained why she still shares a home with her spouse, whom she accuses of infidelity. The digital creator said their living arrangement varies depending on several daily factors.

“Sometimes we live in the same house, sometimes we don’t,” she stated during the stream. “It depends on many things, moods, but we have a big house, like we have a three-bedroom, so yeah.”

She noted that explaining such domestic arrangements to unmarried people can be challenging. She added that only people in similar marital situations can truly understand the dynamics.

Separated but Legally MarriedNjambi Fever was quick to dispel rumours regarding a final legal dissolution of her marriage. She emphasised that whilst the relationship is strained, formal divorce proceedings have not occurred.

“We are married. We have the certificate,” she said. “Things are not working out. So right now we are separated, not divorced. We are giving ourselves grace.”

She described the separation period as an opportunity for both parties to evaluate life outside the marriage. She noted that both individuals need time to reflect before making long-term decisions.

“Yeye ajikumbushe street zikoje, mimi nijikumbushe street zikoje,” she remarked. “If we see the streets are not pleasing, we can sit down and decide if it is therapy.”

Focus on Personal Peace

During the interactive session, followers also asked about past allegations of infidelity in the marriage. Njambi Fever made it clear that she is focusing entirely on her own personal peace and future.

“Honestly, that is not something that can cross my mind. That is not my business,” she declared. She added, “I have my shit together. Leave me in peace.”

Looking ahead, the creator joked lightly about her long-term romantic expectations. “Maybe when I am 45 I will look for someone for companionship,” she reflected during the chat.
