Kenyan digital creator Naomi Kuria has shared an extraordinary story about a mysterious benefactor. Speaking on Alex Mwakideu TV (AMTV), she revealed how a fan she has never met gifted her more than $5,000.
The sum, which exceeds 650,000 Kenyan Shillings, arrived after only two weeks of conversation.
A Fortnight of Friendship
The interaction began unexpectedly when the man reached out to Kuria. He had mysteriously obtained her phone number. They spoke for 14 days before he made the significant financial gesture.
“The biggest gift I have received came from someone who sent me money. This person did an account transfer in dollars. It was not less than $5,000 [approximately 650,000 Kenyan Shillings],” she revealed.
Kuria explained that the man is a Kenyan living abroad. Despite their frequent communication during those two weeks, they never saw each other in person. Shortly after sending the money, the man vanished.

Challenging the ‘Diva’ Image
The benefactor was a dedicated follower of Kuria’s digital content. He admitted that his expectations of her were quite different from reality. He was particularly impressed that she was kind and willing to take his calls.
“What impressed him about me, because he kept on mentioning, is how ati ‘I didn’t expect you to pick my calls, I didn’t expect you to be this kind…’ He experienced a version of me yenye hakuwa anafikiria,” Kuria recalled.
The Vanishing Act
The process of receiving the gift involved a short period of suspense. After asking for her bank details, the man did not send the funds immediately. Kuria admitted she began to wonder if the promise was genuine.
“He didn’t credit anything into my account in two days,” she said. However, the situation changed on the third day. “Something popped up in my dollar account,” she told the host.
Following the transfer, the man stopped communicating. He has not sought her out since the gift was delivered. During the interview, Kuria expressed a desire to reconnect. “I wish wherever you are, you see this,” she said.

Naomi Kuria currently focuses her efforts on Facebook and TikTok. Her dedication to her craft is significant; she sometimes posts up to 12 times a day on Facebook.
Kuria transitioned to full-time content creation after closing a business venture that lasted roughly three months. She now uses her platform to share her life lessons and characters with a growing audience.
