Liverpool Agree Terms with Barcola as PSG Demand Up to KES 25 Billion Fee

Liverpool have made a major breakthrough in their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola after reaching an agreement in principle on personal terms with the player.

The 23-year-old French international has agreed to a long-term contract running through 2032, setting the stage for one of the most high-profile transfers of the summer window.

The Merseyside club identified Barcola as a priority attacking target to rebuild their forward line following Mohamed Salah’s departure.

Barcola’s representatives finalised the structural terms of the deal, which will place the forward among the top earners at Anfield should the two clubs finalize a transfer agreement.

However, a significant gap remains between the two clubs regarding the transfer fee valuation. PSG have placed a steep valuation on the talented winger, holding out for a fee between €120 million (approx. KES 17.67 billion) and €170 million (approx. KES 25.04 billion).

The French champions consider Barcola a key asset and are reluctant to part ways with him unless their substantial asking price is met in full.

Liverpool executives are actively negotiating with PSG to drive down the initial cost.

The Premier League side remains reluctant to meet the upper limit of PSG’s valuation and is looking to structure a deal that includes performance-related add-ons to bridge the gap.

Barcola’s desire to move to Anfield has given Liverpool momentum in negotiations, but PSG hold a strong position with the player previously secured on a multi-year deal in Paris.

Talks between the decision-makers at both clubs are expected to continue over the coming days as Liverpool push to complete the deal before the deadline.
