Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones has sparked widespread discussion after revealing he went 5 days without eating, surviving only on water, as part of his ongoing weight-loss journey.

The award-winning musician shared that he had not eaten since Sunday before eventually breaking his fast. According to the rapper, the prolonged fast is part of a ketogenic lifestyle that sees him eat only two days a week before fasting for the remaining five.
His revelation quickly attracted hundreds of reactions online, with fans expressing everything from admiration and curiosity to disbelief and humour.

A disciplined weight loss approach

Khaligraph Jones has been open in recent months about working towards a healthier lifestyle. His latest update suggests he is combining prolonged fasting with a ketogenic diet, commonly known as the keto diet.
The ketogenic diet is a low-carbohydrate, high-fat eating plan designed to encourage the body to use fat rather than carbohydrates as its primary source of energy.
