Kenyan comedian and content creator 2mbili has revealed that auctioneers took away his BMW after he defaulted on a loan.
According to 2mbili, the incident happened about two weeks ago after he left the luxury vehicle at a car wash along Ngong Road.
The comedian said he received a call informing him that people were taking his car, prompting him to rush back to the location.
When he arrived, the auctioneers were already in the process of taking the vehicle.

2mbili explains what happened
Speaking about the incident, 2mbili said he had taken a loan to start a business, but the venture collapsed within about six months.
He said he had subsequently struggled to keep up with the repayments and had been dealing with the outstanding loan for roughly two months.
According to the comedian, he had left the BMW at the car wash while he went about his business, unaware that it would be taken while he was away.
“I left my car at a car wash along Ngong Road and went away. I later received a call that people were taking the car,” he said.
2mbili said he returned to the car wash as the auctioneers were in the process of taking the vehicle.
He claimed that a flatbed truck had also been waiting nearby during the incident.
Questions over the car’s ownership
The comedian also raised questions about the circumstances surrounding the repossession.
2mbili said the BMW was not fully registered in his name, which made him question how the auctioneers were able to take it.

He said he was now seeking clarity over the matter as he attempts to recover the vehicle.
The comedian had previously shared images of the BMW on social media, showing off the luxury car to his followers.
The repossession therefore came as an unexpected development for his fans, particularly because the vehicle had featured in his social-media content.
