Kenyan media personality Oga Obinna has candidly spoken about why he believes many women are attracted to him, saying financial stability often plays a bigger role than physical appearance.
Speaking during an interview with Trudy Kitui, Obinna reflected on relationships, fame, and the expectations that come with being a public figure.
The comedian and radio presenter suggested that many women see him as someone who has already established himself in life.
“Si pesa tu… kwani mi fala nini… ni pesa tu,” Obinna said during the interview.
He continued by downplaying his looks and celebrity status, arguing that what attracts people is the perception that he is financially secure and organised.
“I am not the most handsome guy you will meet. I am not the most outspoken guy you will meet. I am not the only celebrity you know. However, amongst the ones that they know, I am the one they assume has his shiet together.”
‘A complete project’
Obinna explained that many women are drawn to men they consider stable rather than those still struggling to establish themselves.
“Most ladies like that. When they see a complete project, they are like, ” Aaah, that looks like a project I can invest in.”
He contrasted that with relationships where couples build together from difficult beginnings.
“Very few ladies will go and say, oh this is the groundwork, let’s do the groundwork, this is the foundation, let’s do the foundation and build it all the way up.”
The remarks have since sparked debate online, with some social media users agreeing with his observations while others criticised the comments as overly generalised.

Obinna added that some women even joke about wanting him to father their children.
“The others are like me, I wish you could just make me pregnant and me hapo kwa pregnancy kidogo tricky.”
