Pascal Tokodi Responds to Claims Ex-Wife Grace Ekirapa Left Him “Broke and Homeless”

Actor and musician Pascal Tokodi has addressed rumours linking him romantically to his manager following claims that recently surfaced online.

Pascal, who was previously married to former TV presenter Grace Ekirapa, responded after anonymous allegations circulated on blogger Edgar Obare’s Instagram page.

The entertainer and Grace tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2020 before later separating. Despite the breakup, the two have maintained a peaceful co-parenting relationship for their daughter, AJ.

Rumours About Pascal and His Manager

The speculation began after an anonymous message claimed Pascal was allegedly in a relationship with his manager, identified as Cee, and further alleged that she had been financially supporting him.

The message also claimed the manager helped him secure a home in Karen after his separation from Grace.

“Pascal is dating Cee, his manager… she has been supporting him financially and was the one who got him his Karen house after Grace left him broke and homeless,” part of the anonymous claim read.

Pascal, however, dismissed the allegations in a humorous response shared online.

The Sitaki hitmaker posted a funny video jokingly introducing an elderly woman as the person supposedly “funding” his lifestyle.

“Today I’d like to officially put those rumours to rest. My manager has absolutely nothing to do with it. The person responsible…” he joked in the clip.

He accompanied the post with the caption:

“Breaking news, tend to your grass; mine is none of your concern.”

Life After Separation From Grace Ekirapa

Following their split, reports indicated Pascal moved back to his former residence in Karen while Grace remained in the couple’s previous home in Limuru.

Although the former couple never publicly disclosed the exact reason behind their separation, online speculation linked the breakup to financial pressure and differences in lifestyle expectations.

Pascal has consistently maintained that he prefers to keep his personal life private and previously criticised public discussions surrounding his divorce.

“The media coverage surrounding my divorce was unexpected and intrusive. It felt like a violation of my personal space,” he once said.

He also advised people against turning personal struggles into social media debates.

“Social media is not the place to share your matters. Most of these people are strangers. Talk to a therapist or someone trustworthy instead,” he added.

Pascal Still Believes In Love

Despite the end of his marriage, Pascal has previously admitted that he still believes in love and hopes to settle down again someday.

In an earlier interview with YouTuber Stephanie Cherono, the actor revealed he would be open to remarriage in the future.

Grace Ekirapa Opens Up About Grief

Meanwhile, Grace has also spoken publicly about the emotional impact of the separation through her video series The Perspective.

In one episode released recently, she reflected on the pain of losing both a relationship and the future she once imagined for herself.

“Another kind of grief is losing yourself, losing a relationship, our marriage, and looking back and saying, ‘This is not where I thought I would be at this point,’” she shared.

Grace also described feeling overwhelmed after becoming the first person in her family to experience the end of a marriage.

“That, in itself, was the greatest loss I had ever encountered,” she said.

However, the media personality explained that with time, support, and faith, she slowly found healing and a renewed sense of purpose.

She added that her daughter became one of her greatest motivations during the difficult season.

“My daughter has been that anchor… every time I look at her, I’m like, ‘I can do more because I have her.’”
