Juma Jux and his wife, Priscilla Ajoke Ojo, are preparing for their final wedding celebration, which is set to take place in Tanzania.
The couple has already successfully held several wedding ceremonies in Nigeria, marking various stages of their union.
Their journey to marriage began with an engagement party where the Nigerian influencer, Priscilla, accepted the Tanzanian singer, Juma’s, proposal.
Following this, their families came together for a civil wedding. A Nikkah ceremony, a traditional Islamic marriage ceremony, was then held in Dar Es Salaam.
After these initial ceremonies, the couple traveled to Nigeria for their traditional and white wedding.
The upcoming event in Tanzania will be their final reception ceremony, scheduled for Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the SuperDome. The groom has emphasized the importance of invitations, requesting all attendees to bring theirs.
Juma Jux posted on social media, “Kwa heshima kubwa, tunapenda kuwajulisha kuwa Mkadi_Tz ndiyo kampuni rasmi inayosimamia mialiko ya wageni wetu wote kwa tukio letu maalum la #JP2025 Final Wedding, itakayofanyika tarehe 28 Mei 2025 pale SuperDome!” This translates to: “With great respect, we would like to inform you that Mkadi_Tz is the official company managing all guest invitations for our special #JP2025 Final Wedding event, which will be held on May 28, 2025, at the SuperDome!”
He further added, “If you received a “Save The Date” card, tambua kuwa uko kwenye orodha maalum ya wageni wetu wa kipekee. Your presence has been highly considered.” This means, “If you received a “Save The Date” card, know that you are on the special list of our unique guests. Your presence has been highly considered.”
How They Met
Juma Jux and Priscilla Ojo’s love story unfolded in 2024, sparked by an unexpected encounter during a business trip to Rwanda.
Juma, having missed his initial flight and unable to secure a business-class seat on the subsequent one, found himself walking through the premium cabin.
It was there that Priscilla noticed him, seemingly amused by his frustration, and their shared laugh unexpectedly initiated their connection.
Coincidence brought them together again at the same hotel. Priscilla was feeling unwell at the time, while her friend, Chioma Ikokwu, was socializing.
Juma approached Chioma, which eventually led him to Priscilla. He was instantly captivated by her, but winning her affection proved to be a challenge.
Despite his efforts, she took his number but did not text him, and even a follow-up message from Juma went unanswered.
However, Juma remained persistent, convinced that Priscilla was the woman he had been searching for. Their continued meetings fostered a deeper bond between them, culminating in their engagement in August 2024 and their marriage in 2025.
What began with a missed flight and a shared moment of laughter transformed into a cross-continental romance, celebrated with a traditional wedding that respectfully honored both Nigerian and Tanzanian cultures.
