Gospel minister Evelyn Wanjiru returned to Nakuru county, where she toured the Church where she first met her husband Agunda Bweni.

The couple is celebrating 13 years in marriage.

Their wedding anniversary was three days ago, and he penned his love for her.

“Happy Wedding Anniversary to us! Today, we celebrate 13 years of God’s unwavering faithfulness, love, and grace. Through every storm and triumph, we’ve grown stronger together, hand in hand, building a beautiful legacy of joy, resilience, and unshakable commitment. Here’s to the journey so far—13 years of shared dreams, endless laughter, and a bond that inspires us to reach for the stars. May our love continue to shine as a beacon of hope, reflecting the divine faithfulness that has carried us through. Cheers to many more years of this extraordinary adventure”

Evelyn on her YouTube channel April 9, got emotional showing her fans where they said their first hello, and how she was smitten.

“A little documentary of how my marriage started,” she informed the audience.

That Church is named Nakuru Christian Centre Kenya Assemblies of God.

She was a Choir girl, who spotted him in the crowd, and decided to show off her singing skills to capture his attention.

That man however, brushed her aside, something that riled Wanjiru.

Much later, he confessed that he was interested but was playing tough.

“This is where the love began” Wanjiru said in a new video on her YouTube channel, celebrating their marriage anniversary. “I have not been here for so long, like the last time was 2009/2010.”

The mother of one also captioned the April 9 video “Join me in this video as I share our short love story of how my husband and I met, fell in love, and tied the knot 13 years ago. Through every moment, we’ve witnessed the incredible faithfulness of God in our marriage. Watch our journey, be inspired, and celebrate the power of love and faith with us!”

She informed her fans that she will return to the Church to lead praise and worship again, as it has been a source of blessing in her life. “This is where the love and the story all began. I am so blessed.”

That cure, dark, tall and handsome man also took her for lunch in a restaurant in the same area. “I just decided to stand and admire our humble beginnings. This is beautiful. I am so emotional right now. That man really tried, he is the man, see what love has done. This is the birthing of our love, and our journey of marriage”
