2 Mbili, content creator and youtuber has come out on the online space to call on Kenyans of goodwill following the recent arrest of car dealer Khalif Cairo.
This call for help comes from the relationship the two share having that Kairo has made multiple appearances on the youtubers channel.
“I stand with Khalif Kairo!!Am trying to get how we can help raise his bail. Anyone close to him please reach me out we work this out ” he said on a social media post.
2Mbili believes Kenyans of goodwill should look at the positive side of Kairo, who has been an inspiration to many car enthusiasts and therefore help raise the two million shillings bond needed by Kairo who is in remand.
The creator revealed his idea how to fundraise by those willing. He proposed Kairo raise Sh1million himself.
“This is very serious I was to post this yesterday, but it was fool’s day u get. Kairo has been here, and he is an inspiration to all of car enthusiast. He is currently facing a bail of two million and we can help him even if it means each person to donate at least ten bob it will still count” he pleaded.
For the money to reach Sh1 million from a Sh10 donation, it would require at least 100,000 people to donate.
2 mbili is currently working on how to reach to the close family of the car dealer so as to arrange a pay bill that netizens would send funds to.
On 26th March, 2025, Kairo on his Twitter, now X.com account asked for prayers.
“I keep trying to rebuild and settle issues but the police frustration is really taking a toll. I will not be able to raise the 2m bond, so its remand for now. We will rebuild, restructure and God will see us through. Am going offline, nawapenda and keep praying for me.”
This was following his arrest a day earlier.
The car dealer was arrested again on Tuesday, March 25, with fresh charges leveled against him. He was at the Milimani Law Courts for three other ongoing cases.
In several posts, he weighed in on his troubles.
“Can’t keep a man who is determined to win down. We will overcome everything Keep praying for me, keep supporting and keep wishing me well. Its a tough economy that doesn’t favour youth driven enterprise lakini calm seas never make good sailors.“
Kairo added about lessons learnt.
“Sometimes resetting and starting afresh is the therapy you need. There a huge blessing in forgiving, repenting and learning from past mistakes. To a more prosperous 2025.”
