The official logo for the Morocco-2025 AFCON was unveiled on Saturday by CAF, two days before the official  draw where the 24 qualified nations will be pooled in 6 groups.

The video announcing the official logo of the 35th edition of the African Cup of Nations highlights Morocco’s heritage, in particular zellige.

It is a real tribute to Morocco, where a love of football is second nature, in the genes of young people keen to perpetuate the tradition and continue to place the country at the forefront of hospitality for African countries.

The TotalEnergies CAF AFCON 2025 logo reflects the synergy between tradition and modernity. Each pattern and shape symbolizes the unity of nations, players and fans, echoing how football and art come together to create something extraordinary.

Just as zellij pieces are meticulously crafted and assembled to form breathtaking designs, every moment in football builds toward a masterpiece of skill, teamwork and triumph.

The vibrant colors; gold for achievement, green for unity, red for resilience and blue for boundless potential, go beyond mere aesthetics.

They embody the spirit of African football, representing the energy of the game, the strength of the players and the passion of the fans.

Merging the geometry of football with the intricate artistry of zellij, it captures the precision and movement of the game while honouring Africa’s cultural legacy.

It is a celebration of African craftsmanship and the beauty of football’s dynamism.

The draw for the CAN Morocco-2025 will take place on Monday 27 January from 7pm at the Mohammed V National Theatre in Rabat, in the presence of senior officials and the continent’s top football stars.
