The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has officially released the 2024 Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) results.
In an announcement on its Facebook page, KNEC told parents and schools
“ππππππ! The 2024 Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) reports are ready and have been uploaded on the CBA portal, cba.knec.ac.ke. Schools that presented candidates for the assessment are advised to log into the portal and access the learner-specific reports. Congratulations to all the 2024 KPSEA candidates.”
Here is a guideline on how to access an individual learner’s KPSEA/KILEA performance report.
Schools shall be required to log into the KNEC CBA portal using their Assessment Centre log-in credentials (Username and Password) to register the learners under KPSEA Portal. The system has an audit trail to track actions performed by users for accountability to ensure data integrity.

In 2024, a total of 1,313,913 candidates sat for the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment [KPSEA].

Tthe Ministry of Education has prepared itself to monitor compliance with the academic calendar in schools.
In a statement issued on Saturday January 4, Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba confirmed that Term 1 will last 13 weeks, including a five-day midterm break.
βTerm one of 2025 will have 13 weeks, with five days for a midterm break. The Ministryβs field officers, guided by the Regional and County Directors of Education, will monitor adherence to the academic calendar,βΒ Ogamba stated.
