Morgan Bahati appears to be a big dreamer, just like his father multi-award-winning singer and brand influencer Kevin Bahati Kioko.
At just 15 years old, the boy dreams of carving out a path for himself in Kenya’s future political scene… a path so bright it’ll skyrocket him into the presidency.
The young boy revealed this while having a candid conversation with his mom, Diana Marua Bahati (the first Kenyan female content creator to receive the gold plaque from YouTube) alongside his dad who tried his hands in the previous general elections but sadly lost.
“So, what are your plans?” Diana was heard asking the teenager who didn’t hesitate to share his ambitions with her.
According to Morgan, he is going to study political science, then proceed to practice law for a while before fully immersing himself in the “dirty game” of politics.

However, unlike the leaders there he notes his goals are selfless maintaining he will be joining politics for the betterment of his country and his fellow citizens.
“I want to be a lawyer for a few years and also a politician because I will also study political science. I want to be a leader who has never before been seen in Africa,” the young lad confidently stated.
He went on to add that his presidential dream was something he holds close and dear to him as he believes he can steer the country into a nation we have always dreamed of.
Morgan also took a jab at his dad urging him to make sure he wins the Mathare parliamentary seat before Morgan is old enough to start giving him competition.
Part of his big dream for Kenya is abolishing the slums, putting up homeless shelters and giving pregnant citizens free health care perhaps something similar to Linda Mama but better. And for the rest, he’d ensure health services are affordable and actually work.
You really have to love the beauty of kids minds and how they process things. “I always want to be a president and be that person who will revolutionize the entire country.

“I want to be a leader who has never been seen before in Africa,” the 15-year-old added as his parents keenly paid attention to all he had to say.
Launching his “manifesto” he told his parents, “If Daddy becomes an MP and he doesn’t clear the slams of Mathare, I will.
First, I will make affordable housing using the government money make a big estate and apartments and then napatia wale watu wanaishi kwa slums. Wakisha ingia tunaangusha slums zote iyo mabati itumike kufanya kitu mzuri, alafu iyo land tunaweka soko, hospitali free.
Hospitali free itakua ya wanawake wajawazito hizi zingine zitakua affordable unalipa something small. and after that I make homeless shelters, here we have beddings, medical facilities and food for homeless people”
Impressed and moved by what her son was saying Diana proceeded to question him some more by inquiring, “Where do you think our government is going wrong?”
Replying to this Morgan called out politicians for being selfish people driven only by their self-serving ambitions.
“Our government is going wrong because everybody in that government is there because of his or her own satisfaction and personal gain. In this government we need somebody who is selfless, somebody who does not think about themselves but for their people, somebody mwenye anajua kujinyima” the young boy firmly stated.

Chiming in Bahati urged his followers and netizens at large to vote for him during the next general elections lightly stating he didn’t want to be dethroned by his son.
“Munipigie tu kura. munasikia kijana yangu, na kijana yangu amesema nisipo fanya kazi atakuja kunitoa” the singer said in between chuckles.
