Details of Sh2.8bn damages Miguna wants Matiang’i, Kibicho to pay him

 

Lawyer Miguna Miguna on Thursday, June 17, filed a suit against the Interior CS Fred Matiang’i in Canada seeking at least Sh2.8 billion compensation.

The case was presented at the Ontario Court of Justice.

He said the fee will cater for the damages that were caused during his deportation, which include assault, defamation and unlawful detention among others.

Others sued in the case are Interior Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho and international companies; Sitel Operating Corporation and Refinitiv Limited    BY THE STAR
