Morara Kebaso Confirms He Is in a Polygamous Marriage With Two Wives

Youthful politician Morara Kebaso has publicly confirmed that he is in a polygamous marriage with two wives.

Responding to questions regarding his personal life during an interview with Kisii-based vernacular radio station, Etaya Radio, Kebaso clarified his marital status.

“Someone asked if I’m married. Yes, I am a married man, I have two wives.”

He identified his first wife as Nyanchera, stating that she comes from Bobasi in Kisii County.

“First wife is called Nyanchera from Bobasi, Kisii County.” 

Family Structure and Children

Kebaso also detailed his household structure, confirming that he has three children with his first wife.

His children are his eldest daughter, Zaina Kerubi, his second-born son, Garang Morara, and his youngest child, Morara Kebaso Jr.

“We have three children together, first born is called Zaina Kerubo, second-born is a son by the name Garang Morara and last born is called Morara Kebaso Jr.”

Second Wife and Remarks

Kebaso acknowledged his second wife, whose name is Pauline.

“The second wife is called Pauline, I’m waiting for her to also show me…”

He concluded by emphasizing his commitment as a family man.

“So, just to clarify, I’m married and I am a family man.”

Morara Kebaso separated with his wife several months ago. The estranged wife, Mercy Makini, stated that she walked out of their matrimonial home on March 2, 2026.

Mercy Makini revealed she left the marriage to seek peace and escape domestic issues. The separation drew widespread public attention after Morara Kebaso publicly addressed the split and his stance on polygamy, prompting his wife to share her side of the story on social media.
