Kalonzo attends Future Africa Leaders Awards in Nigeria

Wiper Patriotic Front leader Kalonzo Musyoka has travelled to Lagos, Nigeria, to attend the Future Africa Leaders Awards ceremony, where he has been invited as an honoured guest.

The party said Kalonzo flew to Lagos on the morning of December 31 to participate in the prestigious continental event organised by Future Africa Leaders Awards (FALA), led by its founder Chikki Ogbinagbo.

The ceremony is being held at the Loveworld Nation Arena in Lagos and brings together leaders and innovators from across Africa who are shaping the continent’s future through excellence, innovation and public service.

In a press statement issued on Tuesday, Kalonzo’s invitation recognises his distinguished leadership record and recent international accolades.

This includes his honour at the London Political Summit and Awards (LPSA) 10th Anniversary, where he was named Africa Political Leader and Personality of the Year.

The Wiper leader’s participation, the party said, underscores his continued commitment to pan-African unity, youth empowerment and the promotion of leadership excellence across the continent.

“The Future Africa Leaders Awards recognises and celebrates young Africans making exceptional contributions across various fields, embodying the spirit of innovation, excellence and positive transformation that is shaping Africa’s future,” the statement said.

“The WPF Party Leader’s participation underscores his continued commitment to pan-African unity, youth empowerment, and the advancement of leadership excellence across the continent. The Party Leader is expected to return shortly after the event.”

The Future Africa Leaders Foundation is an organization aimed at exploring and expanding the leadership potentials in Africa and for Africa.

It is for identifying, building celebrating and supporting young Africans who have demonstrated exemplary leadership by impacting their generation positively through education, youth empowerment, and mentoring through other projects aimed at building young people and preparing them for a positive future.

There vision is to identify, explore, celebrate, train and support African youths who have demonstrated exemplary leadership qualities in various fields of endeavor.
