About the Play

Set in 1992 and produced by Wangari Blackwell Films, Cards on the Table follows an ex-couple who reunite for a daring heist—robbing a collection at a Valentine’s event.

But things quickly spiral out of control as love, deception, and unexpected twists collide!

The play is directed by Victor Gatonye, making his long-awaited return to the stage after a decade.
