The medical community is in mourning following the death of another medical intern in Kiambu county. Kiambu medical intern found dead.
The Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU) confirmed the death of Francis Njuki who was interning at Thika Level 5 Hospital.
This comes barely two months after another medical intern was found dead at her apartment balcony in Kiambu. This comes at a time when the medical community has made calls for the government to address challenges faced by interns and to improve the welfare of medical practitioners.
