Stand-up comedian Chipukeezy has opened up on losing his virginity in class four.

Speaking during an interview with Dr Ofweneke, he shared

‘My dad would prohibit me from watching TV so I would take Sh5 Bob and go to a place that used to have a TV for a fee. We even started watching adult films very early. I lost my virginity in class 4. I think that is why am not married nor do I have kids.”

He added

“In class 8, there was a man within the market and we would help sell. I was a professional muguka seller for him.

Chipukeezy also shared his journey dropping out of school

‘I dropped out of school in class seven. I requested my mum to give me some cash so that I could start a business. I felt the only way I could help my family get out of poverty was by hustling.’ Admitted Chipukeezy

He was a stubborn child.

“In form 2 I was sent away for leading a strike in Masii High school. I then went to Tala High School.

He also talked about having to play a parental role despite being a child.

“Daily, I would wake up and sweep the compound while tea was cooking. We were three boys, and I was acting as the parent. Then I’d go to school,” he recalled.

How did that affect him?

“I have never thought of planning myself. I was taught to always take care of others before I could focus on myself.”

Chipukeezy says he lived a double life. “My mum found out that I take alcohol as an artist. When I was young I learned how to survive, such things can make or break you. I had a side to show my family, I had a side where I would go do worldly things.”
