Kenyan rapper Stevo Simple Boy has confirmed that he has reconciled with his baby mama, Brenda, putting an end to months of speculation surrounding the status of their relationship.

The Freshi Barida hitmaker revealed that the couple are back together after spending approximately four months apart following disagreements in their relationship. Stevo made the revelation during an interview on Monday, August 10, 2026.
According to the musician, Brenda had moved back to her family home after the couple fell out. However, after spending time apart, the two resumed communication and eventually decided to resolve their differences and give their relationship another chance.
“Eee, karibu miezi minne. Tukongea tukakubaliana, tukasema acha arudi,” Stevo said, explaining that they talked about their differences and agreed that Brenda should return.
The reconciliation comes several months after Stevo publicly confirmed in March that he and Brenda had separated. At the time, the rapper remained reluctant to discuss the circumstances behind their breakup, describing the situation as a “long story.”
He had also indicated that despite their separation, the two remained committed to taking care of their child together.
Their relationship has attracted considerable attention from Kenyan entertainment fans, particularly because the couple welcomed their first child in November 2025. The arrival of their child had initially appeared to strengthen their relationship before disagreements eventually led to their temporary separation.
Stevo Addresses Another Woman’s Rumours
During his latest interview, Stevo also addressed rumours that he had moved on with another woman while Brenda was away.
The speculation emerged after the musician was seen creating content with another woman. Some social media users interpreted their interactions as evidence that Stevo had found a new romantic partner.
However, the rapper dismissed the claims, insisting that his relationship with the woman was strictly professional.
“Hii ile ilikuwa ni kazi,” Stevo said, clarifying that their interactions were related to work and content creation rather than romance.
He rejected suggestions that the woman had replaced Brenda, effectively putting to rest speculation about his romantic life during the period he and his baby mama were separated.
‘Saa Hii Tuko Pamoja’
Stevo gave the clearest indication of their current relationship status when he confirmed that Brenda had returned and that they were together again.
“Eeh, saa hii tuko pamoja,” he said.
The reconciliation marks a new chapter for the couple after months of uncertainty and public speculation. Their decision to resolve their differences also comes at a time when Stevo continues to build his music and entertainment career.
The rapper, whose real name is Stephen Otieno Adera, rose to prominence through his socially conscious music and has remained a popular figure in Kenya’s entertainment scene.
