Solfest On The Road 2026: Nakuru and Kisumu Shows Postponed to November

Solfest On The Road 2026 has postponed its planned shows in Nakuru and Kisumu, with both editions now expected to take place in late November.

The organisers announced the change in an update to fans in the two counties, citing factors beyond their control.

“Due to factors beyond our control, the Nakuru and Kisumu editions of the Solfest on the Road tour have been postponed to late November 2026.”

Solfest apologised for the inconvenience and said more information, including the new venues, would be announced later.

Ticket holders to receive automatic refunds

Fans who had already purchased tickets for the Nakuru and Kisumu shows will receive automatic refunds.
The organisers did not give a specific date for when the money would be reflected, but confirmed that ticket holders will not have to make separate refund requests.
The new dates for the two shows are also yet to be announced.

Kiambu show set for September.

The postponement does not affect every county stop on the tour.
The Arbansol Collective is scheduled to head to Kiambu Town in September, according to the latest Solfest On The Road announcement.
The Kiambu event remains part of the tour as Solfest continues taking its Arbantone-focused programme to audiences outside Nairobi.
The road tour was launched around the idea of taking Arbantone to different parts of the country. Event listings describe the programme as covering five cities and 11 performances.

How the Eldoret show went down

Before the changes to the Nakuru and Kisumu dates, Solfest On The Road had already taken its programme to Eldoret. The Eldoret stop formed part of the tour’s effort to bring the Solfest experience to audiences outside Nairobi, with Arbantone at the centre of the performances.
The event was part of the wider 2026 road programme, which organisers describe as a new chapter for Solfest after the success of previous editions. However, publicly available information does not provide a sufficiently verified list of the artists who performed specifically at the Eldoret show.
It would therefore be inaccurate to attribute particular performances to the event without confirmation from Solfest or the artists involved. The tour itself is clearly promoted around Arbantone and its growing influence in Kenya’s contemporary music scene.

Surprise final county show

Solfest has also teased another county stop before the road tour concludes.
The organisers have hinted at a surprise final county show, although the location and date have not yet been revealed.
