Kenyan singer Nadia Mukami has revealed that despite the end of her relationship with fellow musician Arrow Bwoy, she has not given up on finding love.
Speaking during an interview on Alex Mwakideu TV, the award-winning singer described herself as a “lover girl”, saying her past relationship has left her with valuable lessons rather than bitterness.
Her remarks come weeks after she confirmed that she and Arrow Bwoy had ended their relationship after several years together, saying they would continue co-parenting their children.
‘I’m a lover girl’
During the interview, Nadia made it clear that she still believes in love and hopes to find happiness again when the time is right.
“Me, I’m a lover girl. I have not given up on love, but now I have lessons that I have learnt.”

She explained that motherhood has changed the qualities she would consider important in a future relationship.
According to Nadia, she would prefer someone who already has children because they would better understand the realities and responsibilities of parenting.
“First, you must have kids. I can’t date someone who doesn’t have kids. Someone with kids will understand me.”
The qualities she now looks for
The singer also revealed that she would consider dating someone older than herself, saying it is now one of her preferences.
“You have to be older than me. I can’t do somebody younger, not my spec at all.”

She added that financial stability is another important consideration.
“You have to be really rich.”
Nadia further said she would only date someone who has fully moved on from a previous relationship.
“You should not be attached to your ex. Just co-parenting the same way I’m doing it, na ex wako akue ame move on.”
Her comments reflected the lessons she says she has learnt from her own relationship experiences.
‘I’m okay if Arrow Bwoy gets married’
Nadia also spoke about her former partner, saying she has no problem with Arrow Bwoy finding love again.
However, she said her biggest concern is the wellbeing of their children.

According to the singer, she would only hope that anyone who becomes part of Arrow Bwoy’s life treats their children with kindness and respect.
The couple, who share two children, have publicly stated that they remain committed to co-parenting despite ending their relationship.
Why she attended Vurugu
The musician also addressed questions surrounding her appearance at Vurugu, explaining that she attended the event after receiving an invitation from media personality Oga Obinna, not Arrow Bwoy.
“Mimi Vurugu ni Obinna alini-invite, si yeye alini-invite, hakuniambia.”
She clarified that her decision to support Arrow Bwoy during the event was motivated by their children.
“I only went to Vurugu juu Obinna invited me. Kusupport Arrow Bwoy was for the sake of my kids.”
Her remarks come amid continued public interest in the pair’s relationship following their separation and ongoing commitment to raising their children together.
