Ruto, Rachel arrive in Evian, France for the G7 Summit

President William Ruto and First Lady Rachel Ruto have arrived in Evian, France, for the G7 Leaders’ Summit.

Global leaders have gathered in Évian-les-Bains, France, for high-level talks on the world economy, security, climate change, and international financial reforms.

The summit, hosted by France, runs from June 15 to 17.

The visit also presents a key opportunity to deepen international partnerships, attract investment, and expand economic cooperation aimed at creating jobs and improving livelihoods for Kenyan citizens.

Leaders are expected to discuss how to manage uneven economic growth, rising debt pressures in developing countries, and disruptions in global trade systems.
