MP Ngeno’s body, four others airlifted to Emurua Dikirr

The remains of the late Emurua Dikirr Member of Parliament Johana Ng’eno and four other victims of the helicopter crash in Nandi on Saturday have been airlifted to Emurua Dikirr Primary School for a joint memorial service.

Thousands of mourners are already gathered at the school grounds to pay their last respects as political leaders and community members are set to join the emotional farewell.

The crash that claimed the five lives has been under investigation by aviation authorities, with officials working to determine the cause of the accident. Authorities have since assured the public that a thorough probe is ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.

Residents described the deceased as dedicated leaders and professionals who played key roles in community development.

Security is heightened at the venue to manage the large crowds attending the emotional send-off ceremony
