The Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA) Holdings Limited has elected new leadership at the helm of its Board. Enos Njeru has been appointed Chairman, while Samson Mosonik Menjo takes over as Vice Chairman.
They succeed Chege Kirundi and Omweno James Ombasa, who served as Chair and Vice Chairman, respectively.
The Board expressed gratitude to the outgoing leaders for their “dedicated service to the Agency.”
KTDA Holdings said it remains committed to upholding the highest standards of corporate governance, protecting farmers’ value, and positioning Kenya’s tea competitively in regional and international markets.
The change comes as part of routine governance processes, aimed at strengthening oversight and ensuring that KTDA continues to meet the needs of tea farmers across the country.
The agency manages production, processing, and marketing for millions of smallholder tea farmers, making its leadership pivotal in maintaining Kenya’s position in global tea markets.
“The Board congratulates the newly elected Chairman and Vice Chairman,” KTDA Holdings said in a statement, underscoring confidence in the new leadership’s ability to guide the agency forward.
