The player has sealed a move to Stanbic Aces ahead of the new Kenya National Basketball League (KNBL) season.
Bosibori, one of the league’s longest-serving players, leaves Zetech after ten seasons defined by consistency, defensive intensity and multiple playoff campaigns.
Her switch will see her reunite with long-time mentor Maurice Obilo, who previously coached her at the Nairobi-based side and is now steering Stanbic’s ambitious project.
“I’m excited to join Stanbic and take my skills to the next level. The team’s values align with mine, and I’m looking forward to contributing and growing with the team,” Bosibori said.
Stanbic Aces finished sixth last season with a 13–9 record, qualifying for the playoffs before bowing out 2–0 in the first round to Equity Bank Hawks.
The club is seeking greater competitiveness, and Bosibori’s arrival adds experience and backcourt stability. During the 2023–24 campaign, Zetech placed fourth in the regular season and reached the semi-finals, again falling to Equity Bank Hawks.
Bosibori averaged double figures in minutes, contributing in points, assists and steals while taking on key defensive assignments. At the Africa Women’s Basketball League qualifiers, she led her side in steals, underlining her anticipation and on-ball pressure.
Across ten seasons, she was part of three top-four finishes and two semi-final playoff runs, also serving as stand-in captain in select fixtures. “I aim to contribute as a scorer and playmaker. This season, I plan to take more shots, bring more energy on both ends, and maintain a winning mindset,” she said.
