A TV47 interview featuring Prophet David Owuor has gone viral after the preacher openly detailed what he described as a strict medical verification process behind the healings associated with his ministry.
The clip, now circulating widely on social media platforms, has drawn attention because of the specific language and medical references used during the interview, pushing the conversation beyond faith testimony into public health territory.
Where I Normally Pick Them From
Speaking during the interview, Prophet Owuor claimed that individuals presented as healed are not selected at random.
According to him, the process begins after government testing has already been completed.
“The government has tested them all and come to the conclusion that the file is closed, this person has turned negative, ARVs withdrawn,” he said.
He added that only after this stage does his team step in.
“That is where I normally pick them from and seek their consent.”
International Laboratories
The interview took a detailed turn when Prophet Owuor spoke about further testing outside government facilities.
He stated that those who consent are taken to internationally ISO-certified laboratories, mentioning Lancet International by name.

“When Lancet tests you in Kenya here and find you to be negative, when they test you in New York City, they will also find that you are negative,” he said.
The mention of overseas testing immediately became a focal point of online discussion.
Much Tighter Than the Government
One of the most shared moments from the interview came when Prophet Owuor compared his ministry’s verification process to that of the state.
“Our program of verification is even tighter and goes far beyond the government.”
He attributed the reported outcomes directly to divine intervention.
“Now that is the healing of the Lord.”
Miracles Referenced in the Interview
During the same segment, Prophet Owuor listed physical healings that have previously been associated with his crusades.
“That’s why we have cripples walking, blind seeing, eating.”

The clip quickly spread across TikTok, X, Facebook, and WhatsApp, triggering remix videos, stitched reactions, and long comment threads.
Public Reaction Splits Online
Online reactions have been sharply divided.
Some users praised the level of detail provided, saying it explained questions they had long asked about healing claims. Others focused on the mention of ARV withdrawal, questioning how such decisions are made and verified.
Medical professionals, religious leaders, and ordinary users all weighed in, turning the interview into a wider conversation about faith, medicine, and accountability in modern Kenya.
