This week, however, fans finally caught a glimpse of the child when both Paula and Marioo shared her photo on their Instagram accounts to celebrate her milestone.
Paula, who was initially against the idea of revealing their daughter’s face, acknowledged that she and Marioo had differing views on the matter.
“To be honest, I was not keen on exposing my child’s face to the public this early, but her father had a different opinion,” Paula explained. “I felt it was better for a young child’s identity to remain private until they’re older—at least until she turned one.”
Marioo, on his part, expressed his deep gratitude for Amara’s first birthday and emphasized the importance of shielding her from the harsh realities of social media.
“I wanted my daughter to be happy first, so I kept her face hidden. I also didn’t want people to become too familiar with her life through Instagram,” he said. “Today it’s a celebration, but tomorrow the same photo might end up on gossip pages. That’s why I’ve been careful about exposing her.”
He further highlighted concerns about how children’s images are often misused online, stressing the need for privacy.
