Georgina Njenga: Why Tyler Mbaya (Baha) and I Could Never Get Back Together

Georgina Njenga has explained why she and her baby daddy, Tyler Mbaya, alias Baha, parted ways. The mother of one revealed that they had too many unresolved issues.

In an interview with Morin Actress, she was asked if she had ever considered getting back with Baha.

“Zii, never. We had a lot of issues, and even if we got back together, it would never work,” she said.

Georgina added that what affected her the most was the breakup of her family.

“I was more affected by the family breakup than the love aspect. I kept thinking, ‘Georgina, you grew up with a father, and now this is happening.’ But I told myself I couldn’t stay just for someone who would eventually grow up and start her own life (my daughter).”

She also revealed that her daughter is currently living with her grandmother (Georgina’s mum).

“She is currently staying with my mum. She had a speech delay and is about to start school, so I sent her home to interact with other kids more. Right now, if Baha wants to talk to her, he calls my mum, and I do the same.”

Georgina admitted to having faced many challenges in the past, adding that she would open up about them when she was ready.

Does she regret having adult content leaked online?

“I do feel bad about it, but years from now, so many things will have happened that I don’t think most people will remember.”

How did they meet?

Georgina was a big fan of Baha when he starred in the Machachari TV series.

In 2016, while still in high school, she noticed that her cousin, Nina, was close friends with Baha. After completing Form Four, Georgina learned that Baha was looking for a girlfriend. Her cousin Nina sent him her photos to introduce them.

“My cousin invited us to her place, and that’s how we first met,” Georgina recalled.

After that, they started hanging out.

Baha was not interested in a casual relationship, so they began dating seriously.

One Sunday, Georgina visited her friends in Roysambu and got caught up in the Covid-19 curfew hours. Unsure of how to get home, she received a call from Baha.

“Baha called and asked me where I was. When I told him, he came to pick me up, and that’s how we officially started dating,” she said.
