On Thursday, February 27, Kenyans noticed some activity on his X account, which had not tweeted anything for one year. The last time Chebukati tweeted was in March 2024, as he relished time with his family at their Sabata farm. However, in a new most recent tweet, the family informed netizens that the account was going to serve as their official channel for funeral announcements from the family.  The tweet also paid tribute to the late, saying his legacy will always inspire the remaining part of the family. “As we continue to mourn the transition of our beloved husband and father Mr.

Here are two of the reactions as many shared the tweet through quotes with a message to comfort the family, since the comment section was closed. @KelvinKarani said: “May his soul rest in Peace. He did what many could not do.” @asubwa_denis said: “May his soul R.I.P. The family spokesperson, Eric Nyongesa, spoke to the media as he named the three kids, firstborn son Jonathan, daughter Racheal and lastborn son Emmanuel. Nyongesa also addressed speculation surrounding Chebukati’s cause of death, urging people to avoid speculation as more details would be shared. According to Nyongesa, Chebukati had undergone two surgeries after he was diagnosed with brain cancer. He suffered a cardiac arrest on the night of his death and a postmortem was to be done to establish the immediate course of death.
