Mutahi Kagwe Sends Message to Leaders Against William Ruto’s Government: “Heal”

Source: Twitter In a statement posted on his social media on Saturday, January 18, Kagwe urged critics of the government to put aside their differences and unite to help rebuild Kenya. “I urge all of us to put our differences aside, come together to work, heal, and rebuild our nation, for that is what true leadership is. This is to a New Era, a New Dawn,” Kagwe said.

Kagwe also expressed gratitude to the president for appointing him to the Ministry of Agriculture, reaffirming his commitment to serving Kenyans with dedication. The Agriculture CS recognised the challenges in the agricultural sector but stated he sees them as opportunities. “I sincerely thank H. E. President William Ruto for appointing me as the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Development. Agriculture is the backbone of our livelihoods and economy. As I humbly take up office, I am aware of the challenges ahead. This is an opportunity to also turn those challenges into opportunities. I shall always serve with diligence, integrity, and in-observance of the constitution and in the best interests of the people of Kenya,” Kagwe’s statement read.
