Ruto meets ex-Meru governor Kiraitu Murungi

President William Ruto on Sunday, January 12, met with former Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi.

The President met Kiraitu Murungi at State House.

Their meeting came shortly after Murungi claimed the government was sidelining the Meru people.

The former governor stated that the Meru people overwhelmingly voted for Ruto.

“People are very bitter when they see what they did to ensure UDA won the government,” Kiraitu said.
