In a heart-wrenching final farewell, Angela Moraa and Vincent Bosire, whose lifeless bodies were found holding hands in a Kisii house, were laid to rest in separate villages. Angela Moraa was found dead alongside her lover Vincent at their rented apartment in Nyamataro.

Tears flowed freely as loved ones in deep mourning questioned the tragic circumstances surrounding their untimely demise.  On Friday, December 13, mourners gathered at Moitunya Primary School to bid farewell to Angela, who had been living in the US after securing a green card in 2015. Angela had dreams of improving her family’s financial situation, but her life was cruelly cut short at the young age of 28.

Family and friends remembered her as a woman full of potential and ambition, one who had left Kenya to seek better opportunities abroad. Her family, still in shock, revealed troubling details about the autopsy report, which indicated that Angela had been tortured before her death.

“Angela’s illness was that she was beaten. When we did the post-mortem, she had been beaten, she was injured. Even the skull was fractured and blood had filled the brain from the knees upwards,” said Edward Penicilin, the family spokesperson.

What mystery surrounds Angela, Vincent’s death As Angela’s body was laid to rest in Moitunya, a few kilometres away in Kenyerere village, mourners gathered to honour Vincent Bosire.

The 29-year-old doctor, who worked at Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital, was remembered as humble, respectful, and dedicated. Family members, including his older brother Fr Thomas Nyambunde, spoke of their close bond, with Fr.

Thomas describing Vincent as a “saint.” Fr Thomas revealed that Vincent and Angela had been childhood friends since 2013 when they were in Form Four, and their friendship had blossomed into love over the years. However, the family remained silent on the cause of Angela’s death, refraining from speculating on the tragic circumstances.

As investigations by the Kisii police remain ongoing, both families are left to grapple with the loss of two young lives. Despite the tragic and mysterious circumstances, both families have asked the public to respect their grief as they await the truth behind the deaths of Angela and Vincent.
