Jamhuri Day: Kithure Kindiki’s Wife Joyce Skips Celebrations Weeks after Hubby’s Swearing-In

 


Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has elicited mixed reactions after attending Jamhuri Day celebrations without his spouse. Eyebrows raised as Kithure Kindiki’s wife, Joyce, misses the Jamhuri Day event. 

 Where is Kithure Kindiki’s wife? On December 12, Kindiki arrived at Uhuru Gardens aboard a Mercedes Benz, looking dapper in a fitting black suit.  Kenyans noticed his spouse, Dr Joyce Kindiki, was not at the event, leaving tongues wagging. This was the first public event the second lady skipped just weeks after her husband was sworn in as the deputy president of Kenya.  

Video of Kindiki arriving at Uhuru Gardens below: Kenyans questioned why Dr Joycve was absent from such a historic event, and below are their different reactions : Wanyama Wakasiaka said: “Kithure Kindiki doesn’t move with the wife in public functions. Good. Another Moi in the making.” Ali Nabutete said: “No need of moving around with a wife in a function unless it is a show off bro😂😂😂😂.”

 Lazaro Lwande said: “Hapendi show off.” Geoffrey K Sigei said: “She’s a busy woman.” Sally K Shee said: “Some of us “wives” have no time for some events.” George Ogutu said: “The wife is a lecturer at the University Of Nairobi. They are preparing for tomorrow’s 13th December graduation.” Mariah Twirie said: “We Meru women are very busy, sio kuandama Mzee kila mahali 🤣.”
