Content creator Marya Okoth has maintained she has no regrets about having a public relationship with veteran comedian YY. Marya Okoth shared that she and YY were working on co-parenting their baby. She had recently taken to social media to share that she was no longer in a relationship with the comedian and asked for privacy. In her words: “For sure, he and I are not the type to clout chase. Every couple goes through their ups and downs. It does not make me a bad person, it does not make him a bad person. We are still very good parents to our baby.” When asked if she would take back YY should he apologise and ask for another chance, Marya shut down that question. “Bye the world,” she said as she walked away.
This comes days after the comedian marvelled at his new woman, whom he showered with praise after she dropped him off at the airport. YY also visited the new lover’s family, where she introduced him to her parents in the village.
