President Ruto signs IEBC Bill into Law at KICC

President William Ruto signs into law the IEBC (Amendment) Bill, 2024.

President William Ruto has signed into law the IEBC (Amendment) Bill, 2024.

The signing ceremony took place at KICC.

Azimio leaders Raila Odinga and former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka were all present during the signing.

National Assembly speaker Moses Wetangula among other leaders were also present.

The bill passed by Parliament is based on the recommendations of the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) report.

Security officers were deployed to major routes and places from the State House to KICC.
