Mumias East Member of Parliament (MP) Peter Salsasya has showcased inside his Nairobi home. Peter Salasya showcases Nairobi home and discloses he wants to renovate it. The lawmaker lives in a lovely two-storey building, which he bought after he was elected an MP in 2022. In an exclusive tour on KTN’s Art of Living show, Salasya showed every exciting part of the house. As you walk into the compound, you are greeted by blossoming flowers and very healthy trees. Then, as you get into his sitting room, the walls are painted orange, and Salasya’s portraits hang on them. The politician has comfortable recliner seats and a 55-inch TV on a wooden stand. Why is Salasya planning to renovate his house? If you think the legislator is comfortable living in the already beautiful space, then you are wrong; he has plans to renovate the house and give it a new look. “I’m going to renovate it. This is not the standard I want. I know myself. I will put it to the standards, the best colour, best lights and everything,” Salasasya told Art of Living show host Nailantei Kenga. The funny politician explained that he has many responsibilities at home – building his village home, caring for his parents and siblings, and working for his constituents. The house also has warm lights and lovely cabinets to hold the artificial flowers. Peter Salasya’s remarks on dating Salasya also led the camera to his master bedroom, which is different from other areas. The walls are painted pale green, and Salasya has a comfortable Chester bed. The bedroom is in the upper flow, and one has to take the lovely wooden staircase to access the room. When asked if he is in a relationship, the parliamentarian said he does not have time for dating. He considers dating a waste of time, explaining that he himself will initiate a relationship and fast change it into marriage and not dating. Interestingly, Salasya explained he has never dated in his life. “If I explain to you myself, you will understand why have never dated. When I was broke, I couldn’t date because dating requires money, and when a lady realises you’re broke, she will worsen the situation. She will take the little you have,” Salasya added. Salasya upgrades mum’s house May 12, 2024, was Mother’s Day, Salasya celebrated his mother by upgrading her house with new furniture. In a series of Facebook photos, Salasya showed a huge bed and a matching quality mattress. Apart from doing a whole bedroom makeover for his mother, the MP also ensured she would sit in ergonomic, beautiful seats with her guests as they ate delicious meals and also enjoyed hosting in the living room with a new sofa set.
