The family of DJ Joe Mfalme’s official MC, Allan Ochieng, also popularly known as Hype Ballo i asking for his whereabouts after his co-accused were set free on Monday, April 8. Hype Ballo’s guardian has come out to ask for justice as their kin is still detained.A day ago, TUKO.co.ke, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), dropped the murder charges against Joseph Mwenda Munoru alias DJ Joe Mfalme regarding the death of Kabete police detective Felix Kelian. The DPP also recommended that Mfalme and five other co-accused be utilised as state witnesses in the murder of Kelian. Hype Ballo’s guardian demand justice However, Ballo’s family came out to question why their kin was still detained and cried foul as they accused everyone involved. A lady who claimed to have raised the MC when his mother died demanded to know where he was. She said: “I want to issue my condolences to the family of the deceased. But I am afraid we may not get justice. We have already seen misleading themes in this court, we have seen we are being discriminated. Allan is someone who was raised by the society. We are being discriminated because we are poor, and not popular,” she said. The lady denied claims that Ballo was a bouncer and added that many people knew him as an MC. “How is it today that he is a bouncer? The constitution says you are not guilty until proven, why was he separated from the rest an taken to a different cell? I want to say that I know my rights. I got here hoping to see him in court then I hear he has been taken somewhere else. I am asking an no one is telling me. It pains me and it is clear here there is crime, but as his family, we will not be silent,” she added.
