‎“Show us what you can do,” President Ruto dares opposition leaders

President William Ruto has challenged the opposition to present clear solutions for improving the livelihoods of Kenyans, saying leadership should be judged by results rather than years spent in politics.

‎Speaking at the Genowa Annual Tournament hosted by Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga at Raila Odinga Stadium on Sunday, President Ruto said what matters is a scorecard of achievements, not political history.

He reaffirmed his commitment to transforming the country’s economy, insisting that the journey toward development, likened to Singapore’s success , is real and achievable.

‎The President also hinted at a possible working relationship between the ruling UDA party and ODM, suggesting cooperation could shape the next government.

‎Governor Wanga, who is also the ODM national chairperson, urged retired leaders to stay away from ODM politics and stop undermining the party’s efforts toward prosperity.

‎The winners of the Genowa Annual Tournament walked away with Ksh 1 million, with President Ruto adding an extra KSh 3 million donation to support and grow the tournament.
